The firm has identified
four major market segments for itself, which are:
| a) |
RTS
(Ready-to-Serve) Beverage Manufacturers |
| |
This
segment includes well established operators
like Dabur and Godrej Food Limited (GFL).
The Company supplies Litchi pulp to GFL for
its ‘Jumpin’ brand
of RTS drinks and to Dabur for its ‘Real’
brand. |
| |
|
| |
|
| b) |
The
huge Export market |
| |
Exports
are a big market for Amrapali Foods with Hongkong,
Middle-east and the European countries forming
the major regions. |
| |
|
| |
|
| c) |
Bulk domestic consumers like Armed Forces, Hostels,
Hospitals, etc. |
| |
AFL
this year has already bagged orders for the
Armed forces for canned products and has been
supplying regularly to Hotels, Hostels and Hospitals.
In particular one of the products, the Litchi
Whole-in-Syrup has been doing really
well, both in the national and international
markets.
In addition to this AFL has
also been supplying products like Pineapple
Tit-Bits and Fruit Cocktails
(in Cans) to Katyis, Holyland, etc.
|
| |
|
| |
|
| d) |
The
Local market |
| |
AFL
has been for long operating in the local market
under the Amrapali brand name. It offers several
products to the market like Tomato Snack dressing
& Ketchup, Tomato Puree, Pineapple Slice
& Juice, Fruit cocktail, Mixed-fruit jam
Pickles, etc.
Amrapali Foods has built a strong brand name
in the Local Market. It has also participated
in the local trade / fun fairs, having an RTS
